IMDA and Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust (MPACT), with support from partners (Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC), CSP Maintenance, Fujitec Singapore Corporation Limited, HOPE Technik and LionsBot International), witnessed the tech capability of the Robotics Middleware Framework (RMF) and real-world application of autonomous operations at Mapletree Business City (MBC). When fully implemented, MBC will be Singapore’s first large-scale commercial business park to deploy RMF-enabled Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), making autonomous operations a reality. This is a game-changer for any businesses looking to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. With RMF, interoperability allows for intelligent and seamless communications amongst diverse fleets of AMRs and also between AMRs and physical infrastructure like lifts and gantries. By collaborating with MPACT and industry partners, IMDA aims to showcase the benefits of advanced robotics technology in a commercial setting and encourage wider adoption across various sectors, fostering innovation and driving digital transformation in the country.
