Inner #strength and #assertiveness are key in creating stability and order in our lives. In times of uncertainty and hesitation, it is important to reflect on our past accomplishments. Doubts may arise when faced with significant changes, especially when the weight of responsibility seems overwhelming. However, when we look back and acknowledge our past achievements, we can find reassurance in our capabilities. This turning point would not have occurred if we were not capable of realizing great things. LTech&RE

Here's a purpose statement of a very large global company. But (without Googling!) I'll bet you can't possibly guess what kind of company this is, and what they offer: "Rooted in our humanist values and committed to go further, at ________ our purpose is to create a better everyday for everyone to build a better life for all." Is it possible to be any more generic and vague than this? Purpose needs to be clear, specific, and differentiating. Not cloudy. #ClarityWins #GetToThePoint

During our daily standup at Avertro, we don't talk about all the things we're doing that day. We tell each other if we achieved our "one thing" yesterday, and what our "one thing" for today is. It's surprisingly difficult to figure out what that "one thing" is. In many traditional work environments, we're trained to believe that doing lots of things in a day is impressive. However, being focused and delivering one impactful thing is better than doing 10 things that in the grand scheme of things, aren't. We recently shipped something very ambitious by the deadline. I honestly wasn't sure we'd hit the deadline given the amount of work we had to do. I asked the team what we did right to get so much done. The response: "The goal was singular and crystal clear." What's your "one thing" for today?

Today is a special day for BLK BOX as we celebrate our 12th birthday! 🎉 To mark the occasion, we're excited to share a fly-through video showcasing how we manufacture our equipment and what sets us apart as a business. From day one, myself and the team have tried to build a sustainable and mission driven company that makes a difference. Early on in my career I learned about the concept of missionaries & mercenaries in business from John Doerr and have always strived to build a mission driven company. So, what sets missionaries apart from mercenaries in business? Here are a few key differences: -Global Impact: Missionaries prioritise contributing to the greater good and building a global community, rather than solely focusing on immediate gains. -Cultivating Relationships: Unlike mercenaries who prioritise short-term gains, missionaries invest time in building lasting relationships. - Ethical Foundations: Missionaries operate with a strong ethical compass, making decisions that align with values and principles. This commitment to integrity fosters a positive company culture and enhances reputation, which is vital for sustained success. -Employee Engagement: Companies led by missionaries attract and retain top talent due to their compelling mission and vision. -Innovation at the Core: Missionaries are innovators by nature, driven to create solutions that address real-world challenges. While we know we're not perfect, we're committed to continuously improving and getting 1% better every day #DemandMore #WinAsOne

Amazing insights that ripple through most functions in defense and aerospace. Let’s learn from and embrace this wisdom.
Whether it’s “Founder,” “Head Skunk” or simply “Kelly,” Clarence Johnson made a profound impact on multiple high tech industries with the creation of his 14 Rules and Practices, which serve as a roadmap to drive rapid innovation. I am told, Kelly used to say that “what we do is secret, but how we do it is not,” specifically referencing the 14 Rules. We have a lot to thank Kelly for, and on what would have been his 114th birthday, I want to honor his vision that continues to inspire the creation of cutting edge solutions today. Thank you, Kelly.
