What is a Great place to work? With a lot of thought given to this over the years both in working at other companies and at this one I've come to realize it is truly subjective. For me the answer is easy. My team, we just eff-in grind. Every member of this team at LSE Builders is 100% on board, bought in and focused on what is best for their teammates next to them. Not ourselves, OUR TEAM. Those who havn't lasted as long here have shared one thing in common. They all moved on to another team where their success was somewhat automatic. I.E. Receive task / Complete task / Repeat. There is nothing wrong with that. It fills a much needed role and it fits for many types of lifestyles. But our team expects nothing short of Legendary Action. We don't panic. We're committed to process driven management practices with measurable outputs. We take failure for what it is, a learning opp. The morale, our attitudes only get stronger when faced with adversity. Is it easy? NO Is it rewarding and awesome? Very Are we hiring? Hmm

Founder & Principal at JWB Hospitality | We connect luxury and lifestyle hospitality companies with amazing talent through a tailored, relationship-centric approach | Let's Talk!
From a hiring standpoint, lifelong learners are the best investment, because they will continue to add more value with every new thing that they absorb and explore. They might take extra courses, attend more seminars, read a lot, seek out mentors, or take on new assignments. But the key is that they never stop learning and are always trying to level up their game. This kind of attitude is invaluable in the hospitality industry, as guests expectations and industry trends change daily. Hiring someone who is committed to staying ahead of the curve can make a huge difference for your company’s success.

Prepare yourselves: the paid trial work trial is back, and it may be here to stay. 🤔 Thoughts on the resurgence of this trend from our CEO Chris Nace:
CEO @ Nace Partners | Engineering & Product Management Search for Early-Stage & High Growth-Companies
I am seeing more hiring activity at Seed-stage companies than I have in quite some time. 📈 With that, one of the trends we're seeing is the emergence (maybe re-emergence?) of the paid work trial as a final interview step. This wasn't a remote possibility in the hiring bull market of 2020-2022. Things were moving too quickly. What does it look like? Candidates are onboarded to internal platforms and asked to work on a feature as they would when hired, including working alongside current employees. The length of the trial period varies from company to company but acts as a probationary period to vet how candidates tackle a new challenge and interact with the team. For the hiring company it makes sense: organizations can reduce the risk of making the “wrong” hire. From the candidate's perspective, it’s tricky. Yes, working on a trial gives them a strong sense of the work environment and makes it easier to be confident in their decision to pursue a new role. But what happens to candidates who can’t do this amount of work alongside their current role ❓ The candidate who isn't working but is entertaining multiple offers ❓ Do you drop it when it isn't convenient and lose consistency in your process ❓ All interesting questions and the Nace Partners team is interested to hear your thoughts as we continue to advise our clients on what their best practices should be.

Head of Fellow Admissions @ Earlywork | Australia's first tech sales school 🧡 | Funky House Enthusiast 🎧
🥳 Pumped to announce we’re looking to hire a new legend, working with me!! After raising our Seed Round last month to build a better business school for the tech industry, we’re ready for the next chapter of growth. Importantly tho, we can’t build a school without any students. In this role, you’ll be working with closely with ⚡️Ryan Van and I in our Fellow Admissions team to be the first touchpoint with potential fellows in Australia (and beyond 👀). This is career-changing opportunity, not a job. I’ve been here for 6 months and the level of personal development and company ambition is incomparable to past experiences. Founder-mindset folks, you’ll love it. Autonomy ✅ Have laugh and grind ✅ Genuinely change peoples lives ✅ Highly recommend anyone who’s taken a risk in starting their own thing and is deliberate about their career goals to apply. In the years ahead we are going to accelerate helping more folks land epic roles, improve hiring outcomes for APAC’s top tech companies, and continue to find new problems and solve them. The university model is failing to train commercial talent for the tech world, so if you’re up for the opportunity to close the education-careers gap, apply via link in comments 🔗 Got any mates with incredibly high hustle? Tag em 👌👌
