Dear ItsHer Community, We come to you today with a pivotal announcement regarding the direction of our movement. Despite tireless efforts and outreach to over 200 organisations in the Greater Manchester region, the response to sponsor or attend Mad For Inclusion 2024 has been dishearteningly minimal. This outcome, while disappointing, has ignited a renewed sense of purpose within our team. We refuse to accept the status quo. We refuse to be bystanders in the face of systemic inequality and discrimination against women in the workplace. Therefore, we are choosing to pivot our approach. Instead of waiting for change to happen, we are committed to driving it forward. “WE ARE A VOICE, NOT AN ECHO” Instead of merely echoing the need for change, we are resolved to become a voice of leadership and advocacy. From this day forward, Mad For Inclusion will not simply be an event. It will be a catalyst for change. We are shifting our focus to engage directly with government bodies and policymakers, advocating for tangible reforms that dismantle barriers, promote inclusivity, and support women facing discrimination, and parental rights issues. We understand the magnitude of this undertaking, but we are undeterred. We are more committed than ever to our mission of empowering women and fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Together, we will be the voice of change. Together, we will create a future where every woman is valued, supported, and empowered to thrive. Join us in this journey. Your voice matters.
