Freedom isn't free! 🤔 In September 2023, Princeton University’s Emeritus Cyrus Fogg Brackett Professor of Physics, William Happer, spoke to an audience in Brisbane, Australia about the crusade against carbon dioxide and integrity in climate science. Professor Happer is one of the world’s leading scientists and climate realists, having made extensive contributions to the debate about climate science. He has played a vital role in ensuring there is integrity in climate science and the community is exposed to information and arguments that many major institutions in our society seek to silence or censor. The Institute of Public Affairs was proud to host Professor Happer on a tour around Australian where he spoke to audiences in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. https://lnkd.in/dGsQx-KA

To many people who have recognised its dystopian design, the Great Reset promulgated by the World Economic Forum is a communist coup, or a ‘great red-set’. To others it is an oppressive alliance of mega-corporations and governments – the true definition of fascism. Yet technocracy, as first proposed in the 1920s, is apolitical. Bluntly, it is the exertion of power through tremendous advances in technology. Nonetheless, strategies of left-wing political activism are useful to the mission to build a new world order, as explained in The Backstory of the Great Reset, or How to Destroy Classical Liberalism published by the Mises Institute. Faith, flag and family were targeted by the critical theorists of the Institut für Sozialforschung (Institute for Social Research) in Frankfurt, who realised that nothing really changes unless the culture changes. Cultural Marxism deviated from the economic determinism of Karl Marx, using Freudian analytical concepts to undermine the false consciousness that reinforces social structures. Globalist oligarchs, though certainly not Marxists themselves, have aided and abetted Cultural Marxism as a means of overturning Western society. https://lnkd.in/dzfcyCC4

Only about 150 companies on the S&P 500 index are aligned with ESG emissions reductions. In order to avoid doing business with every company that does not meet ESG standards, one would have to divest or skip over 350 companies on the index. The environment, social and governance (ESG) investing movement has faced a lot of criticism over the past couple years for undermining fiduciary responsibility and pushing progressive agendas through an undemocratic process. At the Energy Future Forum presented by RealClearEnergy Wednesday, Terrence Keeley, author and former senior advisor at Blackrock, argued that ESG is also misallocating resources and doing nothing for the environment it claims to protect. For “those who are ‘team humanity’ and ‘team abundance,’ it’s not climate deniers that are the problem. Our problem is the tradeoff denier — those who do not see any tradeoffs in these decisions,” Keeley said. Blackrock has been a leader in the ESG movement, and CEO Larry Fink has been one of its most outspoken promoters. https://lnkd.in/dUEm7ZfP

Sky News host Caleb Bond says former US president Donald Trump asking the crowd to ‘fight, fight, fight’ is him showing the public his “leadership”. “The Secret Service clearly wanted to get him the hell out of there, and he was like, no, no hang on a minute, I have got a crowd here in front of me that is hanging on what I am about to do,” Mr Bond said. “They are rattled, and I am here asking them to make me their leader and I need to show them some leadership.” https://lnkd.in/dCuGWcuT
