LinkedIn offers AI rewriting and canned responses for your interactions with people. That's a pretty terrible way of engaging with people on the platform. It's not a terrible way to interact with scammers. So thanks for this LinkedIn! I got to annoy a scammer by just tapping my screen a few times.

The secret to an engaged community on LinkedIn. Replying to every single comment. If people spend their time commenting on my post. The least I can do is reply. There are only 3 types of comments I won't reply to: - If you advertise your business... ↳ Save that for your own posts. - If you are overly rude... ↳ Disagreeing is fine, being rude isn't. - If your comment is clearly Ai... ↳ I'm not replying to robots. I even try to reply to new comments on older posts. p.s. If you aren't getting many comments don't worry, I hardly got any comments when I started. Just keep going and they will come!

“Pity Marketing” is having a moment. Multiple reports have surfaced of people sharing tales of woe, mostly on the X (formerly Twitter) social network, leading many who see the posts to pull out their wallets. Could the same technique work for bigger brands? Also in the August long-form episode of “For Immediate Release”: * The Associated Press has published its AI guidelines for journalists * Big advertisers are rushing to take advantage of AI * Gartner has pegged AI at the peak of inflated expectations * Motion identities are now a requirement for brands * Brands are starting to sound alike on social media In his Tech Report, Dan York reports on Twitch’s plans to roll out blocking, new features on Threads, developments with Mastodon, a new fediverse report, and scientists scaling back their use of X (formerly Twitter). https://lnkd.in/dyu4M_Ev

I'm currently taking a course on utilizing ChatGPT and AI for recruiting, and today, we dove into third-party AI tools. One tool we explored is Replai (https://replai.so/), which auto-replies to social media with comments. As the instructor demonstrated it on LinkedIn, some of the comments and hashtags generated were quite amusing! While it's an interesting concept, I don't recommend just yet until some improvements are made. #AI #SocialMedia #Innovation #AItools

I recently saw this post on Twitter - and thought, why am I not surprised? As a #contentagency, we've been talking for months about AI-generated content and the pitfalls for businesses that are taking the easy way out by using this method to populate their website content. So many AI content sellers are out there touting how great their services are - but have any of their customers ever read something written by ChatGPT? Honestly, no emotion, no discernable tone, nothing REAL. Sure, there is a place and a time to use AI, but trusting it to write all the content for your website is just a no-no. Well, unless you want your website to be soulless with no true identity - not to mention no place in the SERPs. Unsolicited #SEOTip of the day - E-E-A-T isn't about satisfying search engines. It's about reaching your customers with real, relevant content written by subject matter experts and not a bot. Do your research, and remember - you get what you pay for! #seo #marketing #contentmarketing

Long ago Facebook lost sight of their most valuable asset, their users. The platform got so big that we the user we're taken for granted. What our experience was like, and what we wanted out of the platform was tossed aside for the almighty dollar. Remember back when you thought following pages would be a way to tailor your experience and receive content from those pages. By following you thought you were telling Facebook "this is the content I want". Think about your Facebook experience today and how many of those pages you ever see content from. Then think of all the random "suggested" crap that shows up in your feed. What we used to call the algorithm, and now we're supposed to call "AI" is saying "never mind what you think you want to see, I know better." The AI/Algorithm is not built for you. It is built for business. The result is today's Facebook is an AI generated feed with an increasing number of hacked/bot accounts and an overwhelming number of posts that are AI generated. Facebook is making big money off of bots posting fake AI content, bots engaging with other bots content, humans engaging with bots, bots engaging with humans, humans getting tricked into thinking AI content is real and sharing it with other humans and a rapid regression of the platform having any sort of resemblance of actual human life. This all from what, at one point, was the most human social network in existence. #facebook #ai #socialmedia #socialmediamarketing #media #publishing

Can AI replace your social media company? The answer might surprise you. Most of the posts you see on LinkedIn are created by algorithms. Of course, some people pay for it, but they don't have to. Here’s the truth: You don’t need a social media company to create viral content for you. A well-trained AI can generate posts that are: 🚀 Creative 🚀 Optimized 🚀 Personalized 🚀 Timely It might seem like the stuff of sci-fi movies, but it's already happening. So, in the future, you might be saying goodbye to your overpriced social media company. Don't believe me? Try it out for yourself. Let me know if you want to know how...

How I DM 500+ Accounts on instagram daily for my agency using AI. ... In 5 minutes, without getting banned, on autopilot.. This is a followup to my post on scraping instagram leads, check that out first if you hadn't. 1️⃣Scraping the list using AI - Using the system I showed in another post, I scrape between 1000 & 20000 leads overnight - I then run my list through an automated formatting mod I made on integromat (Make) - This mod cleans the leads list and formats the rows. The list now has everything I need, and nothing i dont. 2️⃣ Sending out messages (I don't do this manually, I've built a fully automated bot that can send out messages on my behalf) - The bot personalizes all my messages to who it's sending to based on my list info - I have it set to send messages to 5 people at a time - All I do, is click run. - After 30s-1min it'll complete the messages, at which point I switch instagram accounts and click run again. ( I've automated this too.) 3️⃣Run hourly. - I've got it set to run hourly on my behalf, 5 times a day. This means if I have 10 accounts sending, it's contacting 500 accounts per day, without me doing anything. Basically, think smartlead for instagram DMs. I've got this set up as an easy plug and play system. If you want the full system + A quick setup guide.... Repost+Like+Comment "IG" And I'll send it to you for free.

1wWriting as human communication will continue to suffer. Soon, AI will be writing for AI to read. All in the name of humans who probably never read what is being published in their name.
