I don't know if you know, but the current situation in Ethiopia is very serious, with 4.5 million people in the Tigray region in need of emergency food aid. Conflict, displacement and drought have left many people without enough to eat. The crisis is under reported because very few people have been able to access Tigray for some time. So, Mary's Meals, which is currently serving a daily school meal to more than 45,000 children in the region (and rapidly expanding as more funds allow), is aiming to raise awareness of the crisis and to encourage people to take action. **PLEASE JOIN US IN OUR DAY OF ACTION FOR ETHIOPIA TODAY!** Let’s stand with the people of Ethiopia to amplify their voices and mobilise our own networks to help. Together we can stop this crisis before it's too late. People are facing disastrous situations all over the world today as we know, please share this post to support the people of Tigray, we don't want their voices to go unheard. To find out more about what Mary's Meals are doing in Tigray and how you can help, please visit our website here>>> https://lnkd.in/eCfHgUiJ #Ethiopiadayofaction #raiseyourvoice #Tigray #MarysMealsUK #MarysMealsCharity

Watch as Mary's Meals' founder and CEO, Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow, discusses our decision to work with trusted local partners to deliver school feeding in extremely challenging environments, such as in Tigray in northern Ethiopia. Gosh UNRWA, why haven't you asked Egypt to allow innocent Gazan civilians to temporarily cross the Egyptian border? If there were no innocent Gazan civilians in Rafah, there could be no innocent Gazan civilian casualties. International Humanitarian Law requires countries to allow innocent civilians to flee a combat area across the nearest non-combatant border. So why haven't you asked Egypt to allow innocent Gazan civilians to temporarily cross the Egyptian border? We know that the terrorists and oligarchs are allowed to cross the Egyptian border whenever they want, either through the tunnels, or with bribes. Why are the vulnerable required to stay in Gaza?
#Rafah Once again children in #Gaza sifting through burnt debris. 7 months of children killed while sleeping. 7 months of forced displacement. 7 months of attacks on schools & shelters. 7 months of fear. There is NO excuse. This WILL continue. There needs to be a ceasefire NOW.
