📍 North Gaza Hot Meal Distribution
In #Gaza, we continued to distribute freshly prepared hot meals to 1,284 displaced families in North Gaza as part of our hot meal campaign.
Almost half a million Palestinians across Gaza are still facing "catastrophic levels" of hunger, and a "high risk" of famine continues.
Thanks to your support, we’re able to provide families with food every single day, helping to ease their pains of hunger🤍
Turn your empty plate into a statement. 🍽️✊
The ongoing siege has left millions in Gaza facing severe restrictions on their access to food. Together, we can highlight the hunger crisis in Gaza and push for a ceasefire.
Take a photo of your empty plate next to a plate of food and join us for the
#EmptyPlatesGaza campaign.
How you can participate:
• During any meal, add an empty plate as a symbol of the hunger crisis.
• Take a photo and share it on your social channels.
• Use the hashtag #EmptyPlatesGaza and encourage others to join.
Show your support for those facing hunger in Gaza. Your photo is more than an image—it’s a call to action. #CeasefireNOW#EndTheSiege

A way toward regional peace. A way forward so starving people can be fed:
The USA should be removed from the UN Security Council for aiding and abetting genoc!de. As a terrorist occupying force, I$rael should be cut off from the $14 Billion plus welfare that it receives annually from Uncle Sam (and our taxes). The US actively opposes the security of Palestinian civilians and should no longer sit on the UNSC with over-riding, abused, veto power.
There is a mechanism for removal of “Security” Council members whose nations fail by promoting genocide.
Article 6 of the UN Charter allows for any member of the UN to be expelled – even if they sit on the Security Council – for persistently violating the principles of the United Nations.
The General Assembly should unite on this point and remove the USA from the UN, for the good of all. This may be difficult, since the Article 6 motion apparently has to arise from the “Security” Council? Can one member (USA) of the UNSC veto even this?! Anyone have an answer?
Let us move the UN headquarters, fund the UN independently, and admit First Nations (Native American nations and others) to the new UN!
As a US citizen, I do not support my nation’s genoc!dal ways.
As Lailla ليلى B. recently wrote:
…✍🏻In the 75 years since the UN was founded, no country has violated the principles of the UN Charter more than the United States of America.
This is exemplified in the case of Palestine, where a ceasefire and an end to the genocide is persistently prevented by the United States, which cynically uses its veto power in the Security Council to overrule the will of the majority.
Symbolic demonstrations are important, but focused action with a tangible goal is even more so.
This is why it is time to demand the invocation of Article 6 – to expel the U.S. from the United Nations.
…
We call for the expulsion of the United States from the United Nations because that is a real objective that may not only result in a ceasefire in Gaza but can also invite much-needed reform of the United Nations and Security Council.
To this end, we invite all those who desire an end to the tyranny of injustice to join our movement to Invoke the 6th
Let’s demand that our leaders rule with justice and integrity. Let’s demand that all member states have a meaningful voice on the international stage. Let’s act for change. Let’s do it now!
It is time for the world to say enough is enough…

In Ramadan, Gazans are eating grass, drinking polluted water!
Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO): High Representative Josep Borrell and Commissioner for Crisis Management, Janez Lenarčič, have issued the following statement:
"Five months into the Gaza crisis, the results of the updated Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) assessment released today indicate the unfolding of the worst possible forecast for Gaza. Gaza is already facing famine, with 100% of people estimated to be acutely food insecure, according to the IPC. In Gaza's Northern Governorates, 70% of the population are facing imminent famine. In the centre and southern governorates, 50% of people face catastrophic food insecurity conditions. The situation is projected to deteriorate fast in the next weeks and months and famine is likely to also affect the South.
This is unprecedented. No IPC analysis has ever recorded such levels of food insecurity anywhere in the world.
Life-threatening levels of acute malnutrition have risen at an alarming rate since the last report, and we are already witnessing with horror the death of children due to starvation.
Hunger cannot be used as a weapon of war. What we are seeing is not a natural hazard but a manmade disaster, and it is our moral duty to stop it...''

🎥 “We can't find any food or water and the situation is very difficult. The children wish they could eat a tomato, there are no eggs, they lack calcium and are undernourished.”
Displaced Palestinian mother taking refuge at the Kuwait school in Beit Lahia, in the north of the Gaza Strip, battles hunger.
Around 96% of the Gaza Strip's population, or 2.15m people, face "high levels of acute food insecurity through September 2024", a report by the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) shows.
While the entirety of Gaza's territory is classified as an emergency (IPC Phase 4), over 495,000 people, or 22% of the population, are still facing "catastrophic levels of acute food insecurity (IPC Phase 5)".
The IPC says that this phase means that households face "an extreme lack of food, starvation, and exhaustion of coping capacities".
As land crossings are shut down and Israel continues its assault on Gaza, very little food and aid is reaching the Palestinian population.
Unbelievable! On the day new data is out on famine in #gaza, the Israeli Authorities deny the head of UNRWA entry into #gaza. Well, here are the facts:
- Children are now dying of dehydration & hunger.
-Famine is imminent in the northern Gaza Strip, expected to arrive between now and May.
- Two million people= the entire population of Gaza is facing crisis levels of food insecurity or worse.
- Half the population has completely exhausted food supplies and coping capacities. They are struggling with catastrophic hunger (IPC Phase 5) and starvation.
- This is the highest number of people ever recorded as facing catastrophic hunger by the IPC system and double the number just three months ago.
- Earlier, UNICEF warned that the # of children under two years old suffering from acute malnutrition has doubled in one month.
Pakistan’s hunger crisis remains a pressing concern as the country is ranked 99th in the world community, according to the recently published Global Hunger Index (GHI).
The Global Hunger Index, an annual pre-reviewed report jointly published by Welthungerhilfe and Concern Worldwide, serves to raise awareness and understanding of the ongoing struggle against hunger worldwide.
In the latest GHI rankings, Pakistan is positioned at the 99th spot out of 121 countries with sufficient data to calculate the 2022 scores. With a score of 26.1, Pakistan faces a serious level of hunger, indicating the gravity of the situation.

There are children in Gaza. And they are HUNGRY. They are being STARVED by the man-made Israeli siege, in contravention of their rights. "Every day is a struggle for survival, finding food and finding water," says Thomas White
Israel is holding children among #2MillionHostages, to “apply pressure”
This is a crime against humanity
“The entire population of Gaza, are in the crisis or worse levels of acute food insecurity”. UN Stephane Dujarric. “26% of Gazans, more than 500,000 people, have exhausted their food supplies and face catastrophic hunger and starvation.”
85% of the population displaced and 93% of Gaza’s 2.2 million population facing crisis-level or worse acute food insecurity. This is the HIGHEST share of a population facing severe and acute food insecurity in any given context since IPC started making these assessments 20 years ago.
The situation is made worse by the DESTRUCTION of SANITATION facilities. This means that even in the south hundreds of thousands live in squalor.
