In June, HSN was part of a home dedication with Habitat for Humanity Pinellas! HSN's partnership with this chapter dates back to 2011, sponsoring 14 homes and contributing over $1 million dollars to Habitat. During the event, HSN President Stacy Bowe spoke of the company's dedication to empowering women and helping families in times of need, especially in the communities in which we operate, through our philanthropic arm, 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝. The Fraim family, consisting of single mom, Christine, and her three children, Elijah, Selena, and Alayna, is the recipient of the 14th sponsored home. Christine worked incredibly hard to earn her home, completing 36 homebuyer education classes and over 350 sweat equity hours. In honor of Pride Month, this year, from June 1 through December 31, HSN will donate $5 for every unit sold of these select items to The Trevor Project. Today we shine our spotlight on Stacy Bowe, President of HSN. - - - - - 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲? 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐒𝐍? I’ve been at Qurate for about 18 months. I joined in September 2022 as the Chief Merchandising officer for QVC, and was named President of HSN on February 26 of this year. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮? Passionate. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐐𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞? Before the chief merchant role, I was EVP of Global e-commerce for owned and operated brands at G-III apparel group, the parent company of several powerful brands such as DKNY, Donna Karan, and Karl Lagerfeld Paris. I also spent over 20 years at Macy's in a variety of roles, primarily in the merchandising pyramid. 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦? The people around me. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐇𝐒𝐍 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦? There are too many to list here! First off, the people! I have heard amazing things about the culture at HSN, and in just a few weeks, I have come to realize how special it is. Everyone’s been so welcoming and open to my arrival. I would also add that it’s such an iconic brand—it’s a dream come true for me to lead such an iconic FUN brand! 𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐇𝐒𝐍? It will be my new Curtis chopper! I can’t wait to replicate the salsa demo this summer! 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬? As a mom of two boys, I have learned to be very pragmatic! You need to be able to put things in perspective, which I am able to do well (most of the time!). They have also made me an excellent multitasker. I enjoy working with other people and think of my team as my second family—that’s just how I’ve always approached my team.
