Very inspiring session with our CEO and CFO! Now, let’s do it together! #TogetherforProgress
Feeling energised! The next chapter of our Banking Made Simple strategy is called Together for Progress and is entirely focused on growth 📈 and strengthening our role in society. Co-created by 200 colleagues, we shared our ambitions with all our team leaders today during the TfP Leaders Meet Ups. Good vibes, great energy 🔋 ! I felt loads of enthusiasm to put our shoulder to the wheel and to make a difference to the people that matter most to us: our customers, our colleagues and society at large. We are determined to do more than just our fair share! Let’s go! #TogetherForProgress ING Belgium

This year, we celebrate the 40th anniversary of Rabobank in Germany—an impressive milestone in our company's history, which we celebrated with our clients, partners, employees, and former colleagues. It was a truly enjoyable evening, which I cherished with my dear colleague Stephan, who leads our business in Germany. Rabobank has a rich history that I am proud to share. Last year, we celebrated our 125th anniversary. Since 1898, we have built global networks with a local presence. Our journey towards internationalization began in the 1970s. Forty years ago, in 1984, the former ADCA Bank was acquired in Germany and became Rabobank AG. ADCA Bank stood for Allgemeine Deutsche Credit Anstalt. The founding of Rabo Trading GmbH in 1999 was another significant milestone, establishing a unique presence in the German market with our inventory trading business. Our vision, both then and now, is to provide companies in the food industry with first-class financial services and to be a trusted partner for all financing needs. Founded on the principles of Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen, Rabobank was created as a bank by farmers for farmers. These agricultural roots, reflected in our name "RABO" Raiffeisen Boeren Leenbank, have guided our growth strategy for over a century. Three years ago, we implemented our Energy Transition Strategy, rooted in our longstanding support of farmers. We financed wind and solar systems as far back as the 1990s. By expanding this strategy, we aim to contribute to the Paris Agreement goals and advance the decarbonization of Europe's energy supply by supporting our clients on their journeys. As I look to the future, I see the need to continuously adapt to an ever-changing world marked by industry transitions. We are committed to provide first-class service putting our clients at the centre of everything we do. Collaboration is in our DNA. We have always been, and will continue to be, a cooperative. Here's to many more successful years ahead. #Rabobank #Anniversary #Sustainability #Innovation #Cooperation
