Yes, when making statistical decisions, observations can be more effective than data alone. Thanks for sharing this valuable discussion by HR Guru Dave Ulrich! #hrcommunity #daveulrich

What a great podcast from the Guru of HR Dave Ulrich Sir, you are an inspiration to the HR fraternity. This one answered a question that has been lingering in my mind for long - how much should we rely on data to make strategic HR decisions? He said, “20% of data is on spreadsheets and 80% is in observations. So go out there and observe what’s going on coz that is definitely more important than just looking at numbers.” By the way, I liked the Elephant and Grass analogy that you mentioned to describe what you are passionate about, it really hit the right chord. Thank you !!! #HRleaderspodcast #DaveUlrich #amazinginsights #keeplearning

I just finished the 'Fair Pay' podcast as part of the Future of HR Podcast series with David Buckmaster, and I find that David gives a good perspective on, how HR should understand and deal with Rewards. Particularly, I appreciate the critical view on Bonus structures, and how HR professionals should always question, whether their Bonus structure works. This is right up my alley, as I have also never seen that Bonus drives behaviour. I recommend to listen. https://lnkd.in/eA9cA7my #FairPay #Rewards #AbolishBonus
