✨ The heart of true transformation lies not only in the interventions performed within clinic walls but also, and more importantly, in the processes we promote for instilling adaptive behavior changes at home and within the contexts of our clients' lives. As healthcare providers, our role extends far beyond the confines of the clinic. We must be committed to empowering our clients with the knowledge, strategies, and motivation needed to implement these adaptive changes in their everyday environments. True client ownership and thriving hinge less on the interventions and more on fostering appropriate processes of change, encouraging a journey of empowerment and self-driven action for lasting well-being and resilience.

It's undoubtedly the aim of everyone in healthcare to drive clinical improvement, but achieving that aim requires a clear understanding of, and honesty over, which audits are going to be effective and which are not. Tracey Brailsford, of Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust, outlines the approach her team took and discusses how senior leadership and frontline staff embarked upon a programme of continuous improvement using AMaT. Teams were open about which audits were purely administrative and which would lead to improvement and from there began to change the culture. Getting the balance between field based market access and commercial account management is a tricky challenge. The blend of traditional and contemporary approaches coupled with increasing compliance pressures and the changing health system landscape is a wicked problem for leadership teams in life sciences. A conversation this week reminded me of the good advice given by Tim Goodson in the interview I did with him for #NHSwhispers when he clearly answered the question - "What could industry do to help primary care?"
