In the performing arts sector, we excel at drawing new audiences to our venues to revel in our captivating performances and exhibitions. However, as you may see within your own org, there is a serious gap when it comes to these patrons returning. It’s easy to label these guests as 'churned,' 'attrited,' or 'lapsed' because to us, it feels like there's been a break in our relationship with them if they miss a season. But what if post-pandemic behavior patterns have shifted? What if it naturally takes longer for people to come back for their second or third visit? What if they still think they are engaged, and of your venue as their theatre, orchestra, ballet, opera, etc.? Our latest research at TRG Arts reveals that first-timers might take as long as 18 to 24 months to return. During this period, they still consider themselves actively connected to your community. Join us for a Deeper Dive on July 25th, where Eric Nelson (featured in this video) alongside Kate Hagen, will delve into the Rhythm of Repeat Attendance. Eric and Kate will share insights on how your messages and marketing can resonate deeply with these patrons, nurturing a bond that embraces their sense of connection. Don't miss this opportunity to transform how you engage with your audience and foster enduring patron loyalty. Let’s learn to love our lapsed together! 🔗 https://hubs.li/Q02GLpbv0

Whispers of the Market Symphony: A Dance of Numbers In the vast arena of financial constellations, the Nifty 50 stood as a stoic maestro, conducting a delicate symphony between the Last Traded Price (LTP) and its 52-week high. Today, a subtle melancholy enveloped the Nifty 50, a -1.10% note played against the echoes of its highest crescendo. Meanwhile, the Nifty Next50 pirouetted with grace, its rhythm undisturbed, embracing a harmonious 0.80% elevation. A week-long waltz echoed its cadence, painting a picture of financial serenity. In the Midcap 150 ballet, a nuanced performance unfolded, a 0.10% minuet danced in the one-day spotlight. Over a month, its sway intensified, a 2.60% tango in tandem with the market's heartbeat. The Smallcap 150, a spirited soloist, adorned itself with a 4.30% sonnet, a testament to its resilience over the month. In the quiet realms of the Microcap 150, an unspoken lull prevailed, a 0.00% hush, perhaps awaiting the crescendo of its own financial symphony. Thus, in the grandeur of the market opera, each index twirled and swirled, leaving imprints of their performance on the canvas of time, a poetic saga etched in the dance of numbers. #market #share #pgfinance #

Business and Leadership Coach for High-Performing Creatives • Host of the Tales from The Lane Podcast & Blog • Creator of The Creatives Leadership Academy and Profit Pivot Digital Course.
Have you wondered what it would be like to make a dream come true? My guest this week on Tales from The Lane has done just that–twice over! Violinist Jessica Stinson is a brilliant and passionate Atlanta-based violinist who loves her roles with the Atlanta Opera, Ballet, and Symphony, but she had 2 other dreams that seemed to be eluding her. 1. To be part of a string quartet with a strong mission to highlight the works of marginalized composers. 2. To work with and inspire the next generation of musicians at the University level (and teach them that there are SO many ways to be a musician these days) Well, spoiler alert: She crushed the first one by co-founding the Mosaic Quartet Atlanta with her friends and colleagues. THEN, the leadership (and musicianship) she exhibited in doing that made her a most compelling candidate for her new University post at Georgia State. I talk a lot about how the launch of an artistic project by an independent artist will lead to greater visibility, more confidence, and a whole slew of interesting doors suddenly opening up for you. Listen to Episode 11 to hear just HOW Jessica put her project together (all while balancing a full performance and teaching career AND caring for her young son). And if you're ready to start putting your artistic project together so that YOU can start attracting more visibility, confidence, and opportunities. Check out Profit Pivot--my program that will help you do just that--enrollment closes this Friday! info down below.

When a product launch is immovable, when schedule rules everything. Some projects can tolerate delayed completion. Ballet productions cannot. When creating a new production, crafting and setting brand new choreography, making costumes, securing music rights, getting each nuance perfect, everything pivots on the first performance date, which is set far in advance of project launch. Professional performing artists know how to get things done right, just in time. The show must go on. Stay tuned for updates on “Villain Redeemed,” premiering right on time in May! Melliflowment Definition: (noun) This rhythmic term combines "mellifluous," signifying a smooth and musical sound, with "movement," representing a change in position. It's used to describe a dance or gesture characterized by graceful and harmonious motion accompanied by a melodious soundtrack. Usage: Imagine attending a dance performance where every movement seems perfectly synchronized with the music, creating a harmonious spectacle. It's not just a dance; it's a Melliflowment. You might say, "The ballet performance was more than just graceful movements; it was a true Melliflowment. The dancers moved in perfect harmony with the music, creating a mesmerizing experience."

Energy and art are two concepts that may seem unrelated at first glance, but upon closer examination, they are closely intertwined. The creative process requires energy, both physical and mental, and art itself has the power to evoke emotions and stimulate our senses. The most known example of energy in art can be found in performance art. Whether it is a theatre / ballet performance or a music concert, the energy of the performers can be felt by the audience, creating a connection between the two. This connection is made possible by the exchange of energy between the performers and the audience, with each feeding off the other's enthusiasm & energy. It is a powerful one, inspiring artists to create works that convey energy & vitality and inspiring viewers to connect with art in new ways. This intersection of energy & art has the power to transform our understanding of both concepts, helping us to see the world in a new light... My edit.
