Starting a business, especially as a franchise owner, is like learning to dance for the first time. You'll stumble and maybe even fall, but that's part of the process. The first six months are about learning the ropes. You might feel clumsy, but you're actually improving with each mistake. Around the 4 to 6-month mark, things start to click. You'll become more confident and capable because of the practice you've put in. Remember, being a business owner means ensuring your business runs well, either by learning the skills yourself or hiring someone who has them. If you're struggling, don't hesitate to get help. You know one of the biggest lessons I've learned when it comes to generating income in my business consistently? Making the money wasn't hard, what was hard was communicating my offer confidently. I realized part of my inability to do this in previous seasons was either not having enough to offer or having too many offers and not knowing where I wanted to direct my clients. That's why last year I stopped offering 1:1 coaching and pivoted to digital courses and programs. This method of doing fewer things better has lifted such weight because now I know what I'm showing up to talk about day to day and week to week. I'm not coming up with 50 different custom offers I'm pushing no more than 2 offers in my business. Right now those offers are Brands by Brie Academy and I'm preparing for the launch of my Profitable Products program. Someone reading this may feel like you don't have anything that people want to buy because they haven't purchased from you yet, if that's been your thinking I encourage you to audit your offers and think of how you can simplify them. This is one of the topics I cover inside of my Profitable Products Program (more info to come in the next week).
