We reposted our Dean of Students position because we are looking for just the right person. Could you help us spread the word? We are looking for someone to join our team who is collaborative, positive, and student-centered. The ideal DOS has experience in restorative practices and collaborative problem solving / Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) based on Dr. Ross Greene's model - but plenty of training will be provided. The DOS will need to have proven experience as an educator putting plans in place to prevent behavior and academic challenges before they impact student learning and school culture. About our school: We are a K-3 elementary school growing to PreK-5 next year. We are a smaller school (with the expansion we will have around 300 students), located in downtown Holyoke across from the Holyoke Public Library.
