„Just-in-time-licencee“ ⌛ (or how do we call this?) as General Motors took the Avanci license prior to its discount deadline last week. I thought we might see another licensee joining, but again, it is a great work effort by Avanci, which shows the strengths of their licensing program 🚗💨 Here are some facts about the agreement: Avanci, the global leader in joint licensing solutions, announced another groundbreaking 5G Vehicle license agreement with General Motors, marking an extension of our ongoing partnership into the next era of connected vehicles. Under this agreement, General Motors' five prominent brands - Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, and autonomous vehicle unit Cruise - gain access to Avanci's 5G joint licensing platform. This development propels the Avanci 5G Vehicle program, with General Motors joining a growing list of over a dozen automotive brands and 62 SEP owners. Laurie Fitzgerald, President at Avanci Vehicle, expressed delight at General Motors' decision to participate in a second Avanci Vehicle program. She highlighted the continuous momentum and global support for our one-stop solution, with Avanci 5G Vehicle building upon the success of the 4G Vehicle program, which already covers over 150 million connected vehicles. The Avanci 5G Vehicle program, initiated in August last year, offers early adopter pricing until February 16th, providing a discounted rate of $29 per vehicle. This unique opportunity is extended to automotive brands that sign up before shipping their first 5G vehicle.
