"Gatherings and communities are two different things: A gathering is a moment in time where a group of people comes together. If the gathering is well designed, everyone feels a lot of emotions at the end of it. As participants we might feel energized, connected and we might even see the bigger potential of this group. But then we go home to our everyday lives and we slowly come down from our energetic high. The special collective moment fades into the background. Until next year we decide to attend the gathering again." Learn more about the difference between gatherings and building community and tips on how to focus on building community!

What types of events do we offer at Vonder? Our committed Community Managers put in every effort to make sure that every aspect of the events is executed to the highest standard, whether it's a party or a talk panel. We usually organise six types of events: 1. Smaller gatherings, such as Friday unwind, movie nights, culture evenings. 2. Larger parties, such as the Spring Party or any themed ones. 3. Fitness and yoga classes. 4. Lectures, for sharing knowledge with others. 5. Competitive events: ping pong tournaments, quizzes, etc., 6. Exchanges: closet exchange, book exchange. We want to make sure our members have an opportunity to relax, exercise, socialise, and enjoy drinks and snacks while dancing or chatting. We make sure to transform the spaces accordingly to provide our members with the best experience possible. Healthy competition on our pub quizzes or ping-pong tournaments is something we love on our events. We work together with other organisations like with the Westminster students in the past or with our tenants who are willing to pass their skills and knowledge on to others! Since we are all about community, our objective is the same regardless of the kind of event: to bring people and community together.

Luxury Real Estate Advisor @teamddre | Over 10 years UHNW Client Relations | London #closingdealsinheels
Your Inner Circle There's a timeless saying that goes, 'Show me the five people you spend the most time with, and I'll tell you who you are.' While it may not reveal everything about you, it often reflects many of your character traits and lifestyle choices. Over the past few years, I've noticed a significant shift in my social circle. My days at work with DDRE Global are filled with the company of remarkable individuals who inspire me, challenge me, and contribute to my growth both in my real estate journey and in life overall. In addition to my professional connections, I've also explored the vibrant community of Locals.org. For those unfamiliar, let me introduce you to a game-changing platform that offers boundless opportunities for networking and connecting with individuals who share your passions. Whether it’s joining clubs tailored to your interests, engaging in stimulating discussions, attending dynamic meetups, or creating your own initiatives like my Poker Club, Locals provides the ideal space for you. Through Locals.org, I've had the privilege of attending transformative events and forging lasting friendships with like-minded individuals. As someone deeply passionate about bringing people together and building genuine connections, I couldn't have asked for a better social platform. After just over a year of active involvement, I'm proud to say that I've been made a Locals.org ambassador—a recognition that truly resonates with my commitment to this inspiring community. Many more exciting events are coming, and I can’t wait to share the details of it. Cities like London can be very lonely, and it is not always easy to meet like-minded people who are on the same wavelength as you. Therefore, having the right platform to connect yourself with people who have the same interests as you is crucial. In a world where time is our most precious commodity, it's essential to invest it wisely. That means surrounding yourself with individuals who not only uplift and inspire you but also help you create unforgettable memories. After all, your circle isn't just a reflection of who you are—it's a catalyst for who you can become. R.

What can your guests expect from your space? You need to make that crystal clear. Is it simple? With only a desk and a chair. Then, what events do you host? How frequently? And for whom? Finally, how strong is your Internet connection? Can you stream in 4K? Or is a small video call in 720p the most you can do? Both are fine. Just make it clear. #coworking #coliving #community
