Embedding First Nations knowledge into the built environment is important but how should it done a respectful and authentic way? Today at the NoVacancy conference and expo, Tilt Managing Director Tim Phillips joined Kate Russell, CEO of Supply Nation and Trish McCann, Marketing Director of Interface to discuss how to make meaningful impact. From Trish McCann, it’s not about tokenistic representations of Indigenous symbolism, its about connecting with communities to collaborate together so it becomes a shared journey. Tim Philips said that Tilt's processes support First Nations artists with curiosity and understanding, so their work can make a broader impact on their local communities and create legacies that tell their stories. When there is uncertainty about where to start, Kate Russell says small changes make a collective impact and by connecting with First Nations businesses, we can all make change. Start small, build big. First Nations knowledge should be our business as usual and we can all help to create deep, authentic representation in the world around us. #NoVacancy #DesignTalks #indigenousdesign #firstnations

Just wrapped up my first session discussing how the creative department truly transforms organizations! I was a bit nervous but Alhamdulillah managed to finish everything well. Exploring the incredible ways creativity adds value to organizations during this enlightening 2-hour session. Can't wait to dive deeper into the world of innovation and imagination! In this program, three valuable teams of ELDC conducted their session. Me & my team (especially Sayadul vai) conducted a session on "Creative works". In this session we explain the overall works and functions of a creative team in any organization. The interesting part is above those three teams, the participant's vote for best session is our Creative team's session.🖤

It’s EOS quarterly session time with my leadership team - one of my favorite times of the year. There’s just something motivational about living in that 90-day EOS world. For the last three months, we’ve had our heads down working on our rocks. We’ve been having healthy L-10 meetings, smoking out issues, and then solving them -- making them go away forever. Talk about getting traction - it’s been happening. During our recent McKeeman Communications EOS quarterly we had that valuable time to rise above the day-to-day and really focus on working on the business as a leadership team. And wow, did our leadership team deliver. Open-minded, vulnerable and willing to learn? You bet. Looking to solve issues for the greater good of the company? Two thumbs up. Ending the day an even healthier, more cohesive team that honestly enjoys spending time together? 100 percent. This is one of many reasons our agency runs on EOS. Every 90 days we step back and clarify our vision, ensure we’re all 100 percent on the same page and then dig in deep to get 90 days of traction on that one-year plan. It’s a beautiful system that brings shared vision down to the ground so we can all make it happen. And, it works. For our business, it doesn't get any better than that. #Agencylife #eosworldwide #werunoneos #pragency

Feeling very inspired by this deep dive into pace layers by the author of the concept. The digital world takes many cues from architecture and the physical world. Product teams move fast and innovate, things that are shared for reuse need to move slower because they're built in to deeper layers. And the goals of an organization move even slower to provide stability. All the pace is intentional and shouldn't be artificially changed to appear faster or slower. Thanks for the share Ben Callahan! #DesignSystems #PaceLayering

Last week, the Road and CIT Operational Teams embarked on a transformative journey at a conference where client centricity, operational excellence, and collaboration were at the forefront. From Friday 19 April to Saturday 20 April, the team heard from our CEO, Rudi Keet about the vision for our collective future followed by key focus areas to support our most critical priority, our clients. The team had great fun learning about the power of bringing our minds together and defining how we can continue to measure success as a business. They immersed themselves in deep discussions, reviewing the current state of our organisation and envisioning a prosperous future. Throughout the conference, the teams explored strategies to align their efforts, break down silos, and foster a united culture. But it wasn’t all business! After an inspiring day of sessions on Friday, the Operations Team took the opportunity to unwind and strengthen their bonds outside the office walls. Joined by the JHB sales teams who provided a good braai meal, the team shared laughs, and stories, reinforcing the spirit of unity that defines our team. As they return to their daily endeavours, they carry with them the energy and insights gained from this conference. With a renewed sense of purpose and a shared vision, they are more determined than ever to collaborate seamlessly and move RTT Group towards a future of greatness. Here's to the power of teamwork and the exciting journey ahead! #RTTTeam #StrongerTogether #Team #OperationsTeam #Collaboration #FutureSuccess
