I couldn't be happier with the new direction we're taking our social content. We asked ourselves a critical question: Why would someone who has interacted with our software all day want to engage with our content, and in what way? Our answer led us to a low-post, low-intrusion approach with high interaction and payoff. We're prioritizing grid posts over search and stories, and focusing on bite-sized, actionable information for brick-and-mortar businesses. Carousels are our format of choice. They offer viewers a way to engage without the pressure of likes or shares, while also providing unique layouts across platforms. I know it can be tough to commit to finite social strategies, especially in a niche B2B industry. But sometimes, saying "Let's do a few things exceptionally well" is exactly what's needed. It may be hard to say initially, but it's incredibly relieving once you've made that commitment. https://lnkd.in/gA8bzs8m

The Nicholas Aldi Group Things To Consider If Your House Didn’t Sell If your listing has expired and your house didn’t sell, it's completely normal to feel a mix of frustration and disappointment. Understandably, you're probably wondering what may have gone wrong. Here are three questions to think about as you figure out what to do next. Did You Limit Access to Your House? One of the biggest mistakes you can make when selling your house is restricting the days and times when potential buyers can tour it. Being flexible with your schedule is important, even though it might feel a bit stressful to drop everything and leave when buyers... #thenicholasaldigroup

How to calculate the effective discount for a BOGO deal. Product A is $35, and Product B is $25 1. Combine original prices: $35 (Product A) + $25 (Product B) = $60 2. Price the customer pays Since they only pay for one item (Product A) at the regular price $35. 3. Effective discount calculation: Discount amount = Original total price - price they pay Discount amount = $60 - $35 = $25 4. Calculate the percentage discount: Divide the discount amount by the original total price and multiply by 100% Discount % = ($25 / $60) * 100% = 41.67% (rounded to two decimal places) This BOGO deal with Product A at $35 and Product B at $25, the effective discount on the entire transaction is 41.67%.

What a phenomenal kickoff to the year at Loupe: * Weekly new buyers and transactions are matching our previous best, powered by a buyer conversion rate of 37% * January will conclude with the highest number of return buyers, surpassing the record set in December * Continuing to onboard new sellers who are immediately breaking personal sales records, sometimes 2-3x their other live commerce channels * Demonstrating healthy year-to-year buyer retention, with over 30% of new buyers from *2021* continuing to make purchases from Loupe shops two years later * Daily viewer dwell time has increased by at least 5% after a recent quality-of-life update * Our team has been able to identify a powerful (and growing) new cohort of buyers that transact almost 50% more than the benchmark, resulting in some exciting new growth strategies * Increased Net Revenue % of one of our business channels by 25% All of this is setting an amazing foundation for brand new features we are set to release later this year that will redefine Loupe's place in the market.

Hot off the press! The state of retail continues to take hits, and this one really stings: Mastermind Toys, the popular Canadian specialty toy store with 66 locations across the country, has *just* filed for creditor protection. From a recent press release: “The difficult but necessary decision to seek creditor protection under the CCAA (Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act) was made following careful evaluation of available alternatives and in consultation with legal and financial advisors.” The company cited increased competition, pandemic-related disruptions, and more recently, a deteriorating macro-economic environment. Silver lining: All Mastermind locations are said to remain open for now (read: into the holiday shopping season) and will continue to honour online and in-store promotions. Plus, likely some pretty big sales on the horizon.

Today is our Super Bowl for fireworks 💥 Two years ago my husband ventured into running three firework tents in Clarksville, TN. And even though they've been set up since June 22, 88% of his sales take place July 3-4. Here's what we've learned: ✅ People buy when they're ready ✅ If they didn't set up in advance, his sales would tank. Shoppers use that week and a half to shop prices at competing tents. ✅ Buyers will drive by that tent every day for two weeks without stopping, but that reminder is always there. This is brand awareness. This is necessary to get those sales on July 3-4. ✅ Buyers want EASY. My husband quickly learned that packaging up multiple items in a large grab bag is easier for the customer. They don't want to make decisions. They want help. ✅ Novelty items / kid items are an easy impulse buy and have the largest margins. ✅ Two weeks of your life takes the entire year to prepare for. From ordering tents, to buying generators, tables, securing locations, and shipping fireworks from China, it's a big operation. Happy Independence Day! Stay safe 🇺🇸
