Global Revenue Forum is starting to take shape…. This years theme, based on Resilience and the ability to adapt has a distinct resonance at the moment with so much unrest across the globe. We are looking forward to providing the hospitality industry with creative revenue and commercial strategies and new technology solutions to support the constantly evolving landscape in which we need to do business. At Revenue by Design over the past year we’ve been challenged to dig deeper to find more profitability, get granular over understanding where to find more guests, be creative with rate strategies to fine tune an already high performing business mix, re-define guest journeys to remove friction and build new revenue streams to offset huge increases in cost. This time around though I’ve sensed there is more urgency, more realisation of the need to move the dial on a business, and in some cases simply exhaustion in the face of a continual production line of changes. It doesn’t look like these demands are likely to change in either intensity or frequency any time soon. If any of this sounds like your world, and you are faced with similar challenges then please join us at Global Revenue Forum in London, Milan, Stockholm, Lisbon and meet with colleagues, friends old and new, and work together to devise new strategies to build business resilience. And if that’s not enough choice of location, we may well have new options to be announced soon 😉.. make it a day out for yourself..
Regular attendees of Global Revenue Forum are aware that each year, in conjunction with Taktikon Consultancy and Hotelperformance, we aim to curate and deliver an event with content that truly connects with hoteliers, that aligns with the industry's current challenges and opportunities, and equips attendees with insights and strategies to be best prepared for the year ahead. So, given the dynamic environment we are currently facing, why did we decide this year's theme ‘Roadmap to Resilience’ was so important? What are we looking to achieve? And what can attendees expect? Annemarie Gubanski provides insight into the thinking behind this year’s event and why now, more than ever, building resilience within the industry is key. We're used to lazy soundbites in the world of hospitality like 'entertain your customers' and 'reward your clients', but what tangibly does this mean, and why is a sporting event the vehicle with which to do it?
