Wrapped is a way that Spotify can advertise itself because of how many people share their yearly statistics, but it is also a wonderful way to incentivize customers to buy in because they can only see their correct musical stats if they use the app frequently. As a Spotify customer myself, I've found that the Yearly Wrapped is one of the reasons I prefer the company over Apple Music. #beyondbrookesbooks #MKT228 #advertising

How do I get on a Spotify editorial playlist? The million dollar question that we all wish we had an answer for. Buckle up: there is no easy solution. Like always, though, through various campaigns we’ve run, we have noticed and established some trends. Certain bands and artists we’ve worked with through the years have landed on an editorial with a solid 50%-100% rate. And some, who never had an editorial, eventually landed one while (or after) we worked with them. The trends we’ve noticed? 1) A good pitch. 2) Positive Spotify growth.
