You asked, and here's what Highmark Health's recruiters had to say: "We welcome the opportunity to provide candidates selected for interviews with feedback after the interview process! We recommend that you follow up with the recruiter as soon as possible and say something like: I'm looking for feedback to help me with future opportunities. Was there anything that came up in the team's deliberations that could improve my chances of getting this type of role?" I am going to be loud to get needed answers. Have you ever applied to Oscar Health ? Have you ever spoken to their recruiters? What have your experience been like? From application, screening, and interview(s)? I boldly made this post because I have reached out to numerous people at the company via LinkedIn and received no response. I have applied to this company numerous time since summer up till now, and received soooo many rejections. I just simply want to know everyone’s experience in getting in contact with recruiters and hiring managers? #oscarhealth #hioscar #jobseekers #jobhunting #jobsearch

I match top IT talent with health focused organizations to help drive our world forward | Founder @ Primary Search Partners |
Us in the recruiting world have all heard it before... something along the lines of "What a great interview! We think they'd be a great fit for our organization, but we want to see additional candidates before making a final decision." Hiring managers, lend me your ears 👂. When interviewing candidates, it's natural to desire a broad sample before deciding. However, if your first interviewee ticks all the boxes for the role, setting them aside to explore more options could do more harm than good. When an applicant clearly possesses the required skills, experience, cultural alignment, and passion for the job, there's merit in acting decisively. Further comparisons are unlikely to uncover unknown flaws in a highly qualified individual. The objective should be assembling the strongest team, not amassing arbitrary "data points." If someone proves to be an ideal hire from the onset, seizing that opportunity may be wiser than getting stuck in analysis paralysis. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk 🗣 Follow: Primary Search Partners #jobinterview #hiringprocess #talentacquisition

Don't assume that the person interviewing you can connect the dots between your former career and the new career/industry you are transitioning to. Be prepared to explain all your transferable skills and how they make you a better candidate.
