Hearing is a critical sense we need for learning and interacting making a big difference in how we grow, develop and make our lives better. Great study bringing to light the need to care for hearing like any other common health assessment. As a father with hearing impaired boys I can attest to this need and the extra attention given early on makes an incredible difference in their development growing up. Studies like this need to be taken seriously, many insurance plans do a poor job at hearing coverage, hearing aids are not "necessary". We need more studies like this to show otherwise demonstrating early diagnosis and help prevent bigger and more costly conditions later in live.
