Dr. Gabor Maté's perspective highlights the interconnectedness between the emotional state of the mother and the well-being of the developing baby. We have come to know that while in utero, what the mother feels can be transferred to the baby. This underscores the significance of addressing and supporting the mother's emotional health during pregnancy. The call to view pregnancy as a mutual journey for both partners and for society to recognize its role in supporting pregnant women reflects a broader societal responsibility in ensuring optimal conditions for child development. Maté suggests that creating a supportive environment for pregnant women is a collective effort, emphasizing that "it takes a world to make a baby." This perspective aligns with the understanding that the early experiences of a child, even in the womb, can have lasting effects on their well-being and development. Therefore, prioritizing maternal mental health becomes an essential component of providing the best possible start in life for children. #authentic #reflectyourtruth #authenticself #authenticity #truth #community #methodoftransformation #MOT #drmary #transformation #inanutshell #enneagram #becoming #truetoyou #awaken #compassion #compassionateinquiry #purpose #liveyourtruth #love #parenting #mom #attunement #TAPP
