📢 “Grabbing attention and keeping it is harder than ever.” During yesterday’s Havas Unlocked: Future of Social event, our team began by sharing an overview of the history of social media, what social looks like today, how brands can win in 2024, and what the future of social could look like in 2030. One of the key focus areas for brands for the next 12-18 months highlighted by our team was the topic of 'attention' and how to keep it. In a world with an overwhelming amount of content to consume and countless players all fiercely competing to try and cut through the noise and stand out from the crowd, the way brands need to connect with audiences is changing, with not all impacts being equal. At Havas, we are working hard to better understand ad attention across the various platforms and formats available, enabling richer insights for planning across social campaigns to maximise the levels of reach and attention we can offer our clients. As a result, we can reprioritise platform and format choices to amplify attention, leading to vastly improved metrics; including message association and ad recall figures amongst target audiences. #FutureofSocialHMN #havasevents #socialmedia #attention #audiencetargeting
