I strongly believe that really listening to sales reps and then developing marketing programs and incentives around those needs is the key to success. As marketers, our job is to provide sales with tools, stories and programs that help them connect with their customer. So listening to them intently and then taking action on their requests is mission critical for any marketing organization. I wrote this quick article about the importance of listening to sales reps and also shared a story where we changed the game on how we ran an incentive program built to reward those same sales reps.
