I think it would be better to think of it as using the boss for your own benefit, rather than consuming yourself for the boss's. It is then important to connect to a constructive conversation.

Absolutely! Acknowledging constructive feedback not only shows maturity but also opens up opportunities for growth and improvement. It's a win-win for both personal development and team dynamics! How do you usually respond to feedback?

I have slightly different feedback. I have had critical bosses. Some could have been fatal. Impress all bosses, do your best. Your bosses boss will notice.

Great advice. Acknowledging constructive feedback, especially when it's less critical than usual, shows appreciation and a willingness to grow. It strengthens communication and trust with your boss.

Authentic feedback given in a professional way is much more received and appreciated. Don't be afraid of it, feedback makes you better.
