This fact is one of the primary drivers behind the creation of ISO 7101 healthcare quality management systems. We worked hard to address the fact that there will be a growing population in need of healthcare services, and given that they will be aged, there may be increased comorbidities and therefore Increased healthcare resource utilization. ISO 7101 has many requirements to ensure that healthcare delivery is sustainable and able to respond in the most challenging of situations. It also has an entire section on workforce wellbeing, as it will be imperative to retain, protect, and appreciate the workforce that we already employ, all of these measures are addressed, while upholding requirements to deliver safe, efficient, effective, timely, and people-centered care!
