In 2014, we partnered with FESA El Salvador to invest in two soccer academies near our facilities in San Juan Opico and Santiago Nonualco, El Salvador. Together, our goal was to prevent youth violence in socially vulnerable areas of the country. Funded by our Green for Good program, which uses savings from our recycling efforts to fund vital community improvement projects, the soccer schools have benefited more than 2,500 students over the last decade. We want to build on continuing to be a positive force within our communities, where we live and work. This project is just one example of how we will contribute to improving the lives of at least 10 million people by 2030. #WeAreHBI

At HanesBrands, we are creating a more comfortable world for every body. One of the ways we do that is by working toward an ambitious goal of improving the lives of at least 10 million people by 2030. For more than 20 years, associates at our headquarters in Winston-Salem, North Carolina have become community heroes, volunteering their time and talents for our annual #DayofCaring. This year, we visited ten non-profit organizations, schools and partners to make a difference in the communities where we live and work. #WeAreHBI

Our Textiles and Socks site in El Salvador was awarded for its sustainable impact and contribution to El Salvador’s long-term waste management and recycling efforts. Recognized by FUNDEMAS and the AGENCIA ESPAÑOLA DE COOPERACION INTERNACIONAL PARA EL DESARROLLO - AECID, the #ZeroWastetoLandfill project executed at the site received the Positive Green Brand distinction. The project reached 100% diversion of operational landfill waste and promoted a sustainable recycling-intensive campaign, an education of the workforce, and a circular economy. We are committed to our 2025 sustainability goal of achieving zero waste across our operations and supporting key suppliers to do the same. We've already made substantial progress and are currently diverting 94% of waste from our owned operations from landfills. #WeAreHBI #HBISustains https://lnkd.in/eqbQbD4T
