Due to a serious lack of space in the dispatching area, the entire concept of distribution at the Honeder Naturbackstube near Linz, Austria, was put to the test. Pcdata was invited to analyze the processes and develop possible solutions. The result was the rotation of the picking aisles on the ramp and the switch to the paperless picking system Distrib. In addition to the space savings, which now enable further growth, the assistant to the management, Martin Stitz, is very satisfied: "Thanks to good preparation, the changeover went absolutely smoothly and despite previous experience with a dispatching system, further potential was found".

After many meetings and research, myself and Elisha Francis investigated every aspect of our operation to look for efficiency and productivity savings whilst looking to remove repetitive tasks that can bring H&S issues into a business.
I am thrilled to announce our new Cobot collaboration with Syntegon.
The Syntegon TRAYBOT – A Cobot that unloads hot trays from hot racks and decants the products onto a conveyor to flow into the spiral cooler faster than a human.
Their innovative solution has truly revolutionized our operation, allowing us to achieve new levels of efficiency and productivity while redeploying our skilled bakers to other areas within the business. This has been a game changer with the skilled labour shortage especially as we continue to grow.
This has been a huge benefit to the bakers who made continued repetitive strain movements on a daily basis before, now operating the Cobot in an upright position.
