Working with sustainability has always been a focus and a value that I consider in the basis of my career path and professional development. So, I was amazed and proud when I received the news that Schneider Electric was named the most sustainable company in the world by a study from TIME and Statista released last week. Schneider is a company that has sustainability and ESG practices in its DNA, the company's whole business revolve around that, while it provides a wide range of solutions to help other companies to evolve in their sustainable journey. Do you need a climate and sustainability consulting project? Do you need a SaaS to automate your GHG emissions accounting? Do you need a software to manage your ESG KPIs? Do you need to improve your energy consumption through energy efficiency projects? World's Most Sustainable Companies of 2024 TIME and Statista have named 500 companies doing best for the Earth! TIME and Statista have developed a rigorous methodology to rank the world's most sustainable companies for 2024. The evaluation focuses on companies' commitments to respected climate programs, such as the 1.5°C target from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and their performance in reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, energy consumption, and usage of renewable energy. The ranking also considers companies' business models and how they integrate sustainability. Schneider Electric of France tops the list by not only setting ambitious goals, like achieving carbon neutrality by 2025, but also aiding clients in reducing emissions. The company has consistently received top climate scores from CDP for 12 years and integrates sustainability throughout its operations.
