Danish Technology for Efficient and Cheaper Industrial Heating 🔥 Here's a glimpse into the next level of optimizing industrial heating processes - this technology could bring Denmark closer to achieving CO2 neutrality 🌍 With a significant investment from Innovation Fund Denmark, the project has brought together AAU Energy, Topsil GlobalWafers A/S, and Kallesoe Machinery A/S.  The aim is to develop cutting-edge radio frequency generators that promise to redefine industrial heating technology and bring down costs ✔🌡 The GreenHeat Project aims to develop radio frequency generators to over 100 kW with a scalable and modular design, reducing electrical energy consumption by at least 40% Additionally, these generators will require minimal maintenance due to longer component life and offer cost-effectiveness compared to current solutions. North Jutland as a powerhouse for #carboncapture, utilisation and storage is the ambition of #CO2Vision. This is a unique regional cooperation between private and public stakeholders. Today, the consortium held a conference to present the results so far. The results include analyses of competence needs, needed infrastructure and the role of the local ports. In addition, CO2Vision comprise 8 test sites of which Aalborg Portland A/S Cementir Holding N.V. participate in two. Dear network, In tackling world’s water challanges, especially water scarcity in many parts of the world, we use seawater as a source of freshwater. Our investment thesis at Aliaxis Next is to look for clean, decentralized desalination solutions with potential for massive scale and impact in the next 10 years. Today less than 1% of global freshwater is coming from cleaning seawater. About 1% of that is coming from renewable energy powered desalination. As our freshwater sources on land are increasingly drying up, this is a big opportunity for growth and many impact entrepreneurs are going for it.
