🇺🇸 America was founded on timeless principles that remain as relevant today as they were over two centuries ago. The vision of our founding fathers, guided by the Constitution, established the framework for a nation built on freedom, individual rights, and limited government. In America, the government's primary role is clear: to protect and defend the rights of its citizens. This fundamental principle ensures that every American enjoys the liberty to pursue their dreams and live their lives as they see fit. While the world may change, America's principles endure. The values of liberty, order and equal opportunity are the bedrock of our nation, shaping our laws and guiding our actions. Today, as we navigate the challenges of a rapidly changing world, let us remember the timeless wisdom of our founders. Let us uphold the principles that have made America great and continue to inspire generations of Americans. 🗽 #America #FoundingPrinciples #Freedom #Liberty #LimitedGovernment 🇺🇸

I hope everyone has a mindful and happy Juneteenth! Dr. Opal Lee's story is a beautiful reminder of how our voices are our super power. Today we celebrate freedom and, most importantly, the reminder that none of us are free unless all of us are free. Celebrate and recharge for the work that must be done to further equity and justice. https://lnkd.in/eeR9PZiq

📣 A message to young professionals of color: You weren't meant to fit into Corporate America; stand out! Why do I say this? Because the blueprint for success in white-collar America wasn't designed to help us succeed. If anything, it was intended to keep us marginalized. And recognizing this is the first step toward creating meaningful change from within Corporate America. We were born to be cultural disruptors, pioneers, trailblazers. It's time we own it. This is, of course, easier said than done - especially when some BIPOC professionals face more rampant bias in the workplace than others. But, I also know that attempts at assimilation can only lead to feelings of invisibility. Eventually you're forced to split yourself into halves, and code switching becomes part of your survival tool kit. But, you can't thrive in survival mode. For us, the road to success begins with honoring our whole selves, rejecting assimilation and embracing acculturation. Our voice and power will not trickle down from the C-Suite, we must find it in our own unique story and identity. Diversity in the workplace means nothing if you are given a seat at the table only to blend in and nod along silently. We must speak up. If we all do this, it will be like the rising tide that lifts all boats, leading us to a more inclusive future for Corporate America. Need inspiration? America has massive competitive advantages over other countries as a place to do business. Among them are a stable and predictable rule of law; a pluralistic society; a culture of risk-taking, individualism, and optimism; a belief that everyone has rights that must be protected, that government has an important -- but limited -- role, an idealism that, together, we will build on the advances of the past to create an ever-more free, open, accepting, fair, and perfect union. This July 4th, all of it is at risk. It doesn't have to be that way. The future belongs to those who build it, not to the cynics or the critics or those who say "what does it matter what I do?" America is worth celebrating. Let's celebrate it today. And let's -- each and every one of us -- recommit to the hard work ahead. Happy Independence Day.

Happy 4th of July! As we celebrate the birth of our great nation and the freedoms we hold dear, let's reflect on the ideals that the United States of America was created to embody. The freedom to choose one’s own path and destiny, to dream, innovate, and build; the idea that no matter who you are, or where you are from, you have the right to dream, act on those dreams and achieve your dreams. It is not a guaranty of success, but a guaranty of opportunity, the opportunity to apply yourself, work hard and live a better life. Our forefathers came to America from other parts of the world to create and live a different life; not be told they had to believe certain beliefs or live a particular lifestyle. The idea that we treat everyone fairly and with the same rights they enjoyed. They fought for this independence, the right to dream and choose to believe, the right to work hard, take risks, overcome challenges, and realize their visions. America is about many different backgrounds, traditions, ways of thought and belief. It is about honoring and respecting the rights of others, even when we don’t agree with what they think. We can and should, disagree; find the middle ground, compromise. It is this principal of acceptance, compromise and working together that have taken our country from its humble beginnings as colonies, to the forefront of the world and place that people continue to want to migrate to and partake in the “Great American Experiment”. This idea is not an end, as much as it is a journey – a journey of evolution, experiment and collective achievement. Here's to freedom, innovation, and the relentless pursuit of our dreams. Happy Independence Day! #UnitedStatesofAmerica #USA #togetherweachieve #IndependenceDay #4thofJuly

Today, we honor Juneteenth, a day of freedom and reflection. At Edovo, we are committed to holding ourselves to a standard of continued growth and learning. We welcome you to join us this Juneteenth in deepening your understanding of systemic issues and justice by reading two books from our recommended list: The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander: Explores the systemic racism that continues to impact Black Americans today, particularly within the justice system. Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson: A true story of a lawyer fighting wrongful convictions on death row, reminding us of the importance of equal justice. These works have profoundly impacted our team. We encourage everyone to explore them and determine one action you can take today to create a more equitable future. #Juneteenth #Edovo #ContinuedLearning #TheNewJimCrow #JustMercy
