Manage the ESXi host and virtual machine resource allocation (CPU, memory, hard disk) and also monitor and managing performance of ESXi servers and Virtual Machines using VMware vRealize operations Manager. Preparing templates for the provisioning of the servers. Creation of Clusters, adding hosts in clusters, Manage the servers in the clusters according to the application and service. Extensive knowledge in advance features of ESXi VMOTION, SVMOTION, HA and DRS. Creation and hardening of templates for different applications/Services and provision servers from templates using Terraform automation. Health Check for VMs and ESXi host. Virtual machine resource management. Working with multiple Vendors (VMware and Cisco) to fix the hardware and application issues. Exporting and analyzing VM-support Logs for ESXi servers, UCSM/Chassis logs for CISCO blades and also vCenter logs to diagnose the root cause of the problem. Virtualization: Working knowledge on Virtualization tech like VMware & Hyper-V, commissioning of new guests, add/remove hardware or increase the disk space etc. 2)different High Availability options. 5) Available, failover and failback, patching of hosts and guests along with running reports along with advance troubleshooting using the available log files/debugging mode 3) Capacity and Performance Monitoring 4) hands-on vSphere PowerCLI Monitoring & troubleshooting performance related issues in the server. ESXi Hosts patching using vSphere update manager to secure the environment. Data store and VMware network knowledge. vRealize and Log Insight knowledge would be an added advantage.
