I started at Saatva right before our D.C. store opened. When I met Jay, he quickly proved to be incredibly kind, highly knowledgeable about our products, and the best neighborhood guide (not to mention, very patient as Kristen Jefferson and I took over his store to prepare for our first grand opening event 😂). It's been a pleasure working with him and witnessing the impact he's made as a manager. Here’s to many more successful years ahead, Jay! 💫

Sales/Entrepreneurship

(APPRECIATION POST ALERT) Next week, I will be celebrating my 3rd Anniversary at Saatva. With about two decades in Retail Management: being at Saatva has brought on a renewed sense of PASSION. Is it because I believe in our line of products that aim to bring *Healthier Sleep* to everyone? Or is it excitement about working for a company that prides itself on being at the forefront of ENORMOUS breakthroughs within the bedding industry? I could go on and on about the various attributes that make Saatva unique, but ultimately one of the main reasons for our success (and my passion renewal) might be... the PEOPLE. Yes, the PEOPLE... but this is where that good ole cliché stops to exist, and Saatva enters as a company that truly gets it (by "walking the walk" or "talking the talk", you get it.) At Saatva, EVERYONE has a voice and is seen for "who" they are (as opposed to "what" they do.) As a leader: I enjoy empowering my team on all fronts, and Saatva has PHENOMENALLY provided the backing necessary to fully express this aspect of my management style. Most companies dream of creating such an INCREDIBLE core, but they rarely achieve that utopian vision. I am proud to be part of such an innovative, health-driven, and also people-centric organization. The end :) (pictured: Saatva DC location)
