Under the new H-1B lottery registration system starting on March 6th , if a random selection is necessary, “then the selection would be based on each unique beneficiary identified in the registration pool, rather than each registration.” If a registration is accepted by the USCIS, the employer will have 90 days from notification to file its actual petition. The Registration Selection notice specifies the Service Center where the petition is to be filed. Follow us for any updates on the H-1B season. Good luck in the H-1B lottery! However, don't get too frustrated if your odds aren't great. What other solutions exist? Self-petitioning for your own EB-2 NIW or EB-1 green card looks better than freezing yourself 🤔 ? The original cut of the movie had Dr. Evil and Mr. Bigglesworth 😺 unable to get H-1B visas. Mike Myers, being a Canadian, realized this unfortunate numbers game within the H-1B Cap lottery and thought the script should show the lengths that Dr. Evil and Mr. Bigglesworth had to go to just to get H-1B visas. They froze themselves until they were ultimately selected in the H-1B lottery. Austin Powers had to then freeze himself just to be able to finally sponsor Dr. Evil for this H-1B visa. Too bad Mike Myers didn't follow my LinkedIn page or he would have realized that Dr. Evil would make a great EB-2 NIW case. Mr. Bigglesworth was a perfect dependent at a minimum. They could save up for an EB-5 green card by "staying at 5" on the blackjack table. But that strategy has some major mathematical flaws. Probably not the best business plan for an E-2 either. New Line Cinema decided to go with an alternative plot instead 👇 ⬇ ... Dr. Evil and Mr. Bigglesworth 🐈 froze themselves until free love no longer reigned, and greed and corruption ruled again. Essentially, they wanted to get EB-5 green cards 😎 .
