About a month late to post this, been busy! After 15 years in the financial services industry I’m excited to say that I’ve traded in corporate offices and conference rooms for work trucks and job sites- As of last month my wife and I purchased Allied Hyrdromulch, a 34 year old erosion control company based here in Houston, Texas. We didn’t make this decision lightly and this is a journey that really started years ago. While I’ve learned a ton and met many amazing people over the last decade and a half of my professional career, I’d always felt like there was something missing. After learning about the world of ETA or “Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition” I was hooked and knew this was my professional calling for the back 2/3rds of my working life. So now the journey begins as owner, operator, CEO, President, or whatever you want to call me for Allied Hydromulch TX, LLC. There is a TON to learn and I have no idea what the future holds and frankly I’m nervous as hell, but I also couldn’t be more excited to lead this great group of employees into the future. I’ve got big goals to grow this company, but I also am looking forward to protecting the legacy of the founders and keeping this going for another 34 years, at least!
