After an extensive search of internal and external candidates, we are pleased to announce the selection of Jeffrey Phillips as the new Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Greenville Water. Jeff previously held the position of Director of Water Resources since 2019. Jeff has been a key contributor to the success of Greenville Water for many years. He has been a resident of Greenville since 1997 and served as the first superintendent of the Stovall Water Treatment Plant for ten years. Since that time, he has worked at two other regional water systems before returning to Greenville Water in 2018. Jeff holds a water distribution and a water treatment license, is knowledgeable of both regulations and regulators within South Carolina, has 33 years of water utility experience, and is an active member of statewide industry organizations such as WEASC and SCAWWA.
