Camila's involvement in this prestigious event is truly a testament to her commitment to fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment for all women. Reflecting on her experience, Camila shared some resonating words of wisdom:
“There's an incredible energy at the NAED Women in Industry Forum, which you feel instantly as you enter the room with over 1100 of the Electrical Industry's female leaders. As women in industry, this conference allows us to gather and share our unique experiences, struggles, and triumphs as we navigate our way through this dynamic field.
NAED, offers important insights from industry leaders and truly allows us to dive into our core by helping us define what it means to be successful women both in our professional and personal lives. Attending this forum and getting the opportunity to speak with so many women who share similar experiences, gave me greater confidence, accountability, and the inspiration to be a better advocate both for myself and for the many deserving women I work with.
There were so many meaningful conversations (and even hugs), I know I'm not alone when I say I walked away from this experience a stronger, more informed and compassionate leader for my team. I'm humbled that I was able to attend NAED WII as the Greentech Renewables NorCal-Hawaii Division representative—thank you to my management and to CED for consistently supporting the success of women in our industry!”
