The first step in cultivating change is planting the seed. Next, add water. The value of potable water systems in our work is immeasurable. They serve as a rallying point for communities to come together for a common cause and take the leading role in investing in their future, but that's only the beginning. The final product liberates community members from the time-consuming task of water collection and greatly improves the health of families by drastically reducing the risk of contracting gastrointestinal illnesses. New community hub in Barrett Township

Should action come from individuals or from politicians? Well...there’s a third option. When we act as a communities we end up inspiring positive change in the individuals, households, schools and businesses around us. When we get together, we’re far more likely to influence local council and state government than when we act alone. And on a personal level, it’s so important to feel held and supported by a group of like minded folk who keep us going even when it all feels like too much. They say that when times get tough, people turn to the ideas that are already lying around. In covid times we saw people engaging with and relying on community gardens, food coops, homeschool groups and other community initiatives like never before.
