Annual Fund Manager

Just over a year ago, Nerolie Rayson and I brainstormed the idea of transitioning our long-running in-house student phonathon program into a modern, portfolio-based omnichannel initiative. We envisioned a transformation that would revolutionize our students' weekly tasks by integrating multiple communication channels and personalized outreach strategies. In just one summer, we launched our Outreach Center, a dynamic program where students could engage with alumni through phone calls, emails, social media, and personalized video messages. The results were astounding: increased donor engagement, more meaningful connections, and a revitalized student experience. Now, under the leadership of Rachel Alexander, a former student caller, the program has evolved into something our students love and thrive in. This transformation has not only enhanced our engagement metrics but also earned us a Council for Advancement and Support of Education Circle of Excellence Award! This award highlights the creativity and dedication of our team in modernizing fundraising outreach and setting new standards for student fundraising. I am so proud of how our project has made such a significant impact on our team. A huge thank you goes out to all of our incredible students who believed in our vision and persevered. We couldn't have achieved this without you! Check out our award-winning initiative here! 🙂 #unoproud
