If you have yet to join us at 1 Million Cups Bentonville, wait no longer! Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 21st, we will have two presenters: Carli Rosencranz from Code Name Zeke and Lakisha Bradley from MY-T-BY-DESIGN Therapeutic Art Studios.
Code Name Zeke, a business in the ideation phase, will consist of micro-manufacturing enterprises that leverage the coffee supply chain infrastructure, tech platforms, access to capital, and access to markets to increase revenue for farmers. These local enterprises will co-locate at existing facilities that lie dormant for months each year while off season. Instead, they should produce high demand commercial goods from local raw materials to replace imported goods. This is more sustainable, affordable, and available than imported products, and would double the income for millions of households within reach of the coffee supply chain.
MY-T-BY-DESIGN Therapeutic Art Studios serve youth and families within the juvenile justice system, Ozark Regional Transit, Crystal Bridges American Art Museum, Delta Airlines, assisted living facilities, schools, universities, and corporations. Lakisha has partnered with Carsten Counseling Services, LLC sharing the power of healing art with 20k+ individuals to date on the mission to strengthen the mental wellness of communities.
