Did you know that the secret sauce to a fast-growing moving company isn't just strong backs, but strong leadership? 🤔💪 Phil Wells, a titan of the moving and logistics industry, is hanging up his clipboard after steering JK Moving Services International Division to record results in 2023. Phil's not your average suit-and-tie exec; he's the kind of leader who knows the difference between bubble wrap and shrink wrap and isn't afraid to use them! Under Phil's leadership, JK Moving didn't just move boxes; we moved mountains. With an A+ rating on the Better Business Bureau and the title of the largest independently owned and operated moving company in North America, we're not just lifting sofas; we're lifting standards. 🚚🏆 Our secret? Service excellence and high-quality moves. We're the only three-time winner of the Independent Mover of the Year award, and our claims are lower than a limbo stick at a beach party. Plus, our surveys are so accurate, they make GPS systems look like they're just guessing. Phil's retirement marks the end of an era. He's been the captain of this ship for over 10 years, and he's leaving the helm with the waters calmer than he found them. It's like he had a map of the industry's future and followed it to treasure every time. So, let's give it up for Phil! 👏 If you've worked with him, been moved by him (literally or figuratively), or just admire the kind of leadership that drives a company forward, drop a comment below. Share your favorite "Phil-osophy" on moving, leadership, or life! And if Phil's story has inspired you, don't just sit there like a couch waiting to be loaded—repost this to spread the word about a true industry legend. 🌟 #MovingForward #LeadershipGoals #LogisticsLegends #ai #genai #salesexecutive #residentialmoving #togetherwesucced

Thanks for sharing Tom Ward! Lots of times I hear: “it is simple, just follow your passion/purpose”, as if it was plain vanilla! 😂 Is not easy to have that clarity, so I truly command with Jane’s phrase: “everyone has a purpose and life's journey is about discovering that purpose”🙌 Super interesting podcast on this topic: https://lnkd.in/gixircEG
I absolutely love our Morning Meetings at Walmart. They're always full of laughter, excitement, and a strong sense of community. Today, we celebrated the retirement of Jane, our Store Manager in Clinton, MO, who holds the distinction of being Walmart's first female store manager with an astounding 48 years of service. Jane is a true trailblazer, and her story is a testament to the power of hard work and determination. She proves that when you're passionate about what you do, there's no limit to how far you can go. Her parting words to us were inspiring: "I believe that everyone has a purpose, and life's journey is about discovering that purpose. My purpose was to help others." We had the privilege of celebrating Jane and 400 of our long-term associates today. Congratulations to all, especially to Jane who has made such a huge impact on our Walmart community. We will miss you, and we wish you all the best in your well-deserved retirement!

Creative Director at The Holly Method | Use Strategic Personal Branding to Achieve Explosive Growth 🧨
I LOVE TO SEE IT 👏👏👏 Joe Burrow & Justin Jefferson walking in the Paris Vogue Fashion Show, & Travis Kelce making an appearance on the record-breaking Eras Tour! Love to see these guys on their off-season investing in professional development! All three honing new abilities, and leveling up during their downtime! Could this help them perform better next season? OR are we seeing glimpses into their long-off retirement plans? Love to see it boys! Great job, National Football League (NFL)! If these three can spend the off-season, dabbling in new interests - what are you doing this summer? How are you growing your skillset? Or honing your skills?

Growth Focused Cybersecurity Channel Business Manager | Passionate Relationship Builder | Multifamily Real Estate Investor
While celebrating Father’s Day this past weekend, the question popped into my mind of ‘What type of legacy do I want to leave for my son?’ I think it is an important question for all of us parents to reflect on. However, in our busy lives, it’s easy to lose sight of what truly matters. Here is the legacy I want my son to know about his dad as it pertains to my career: 1) I stayed true to my values & priorities I have 5 main pillars for my values that I call the F5s: Faith, Family, Fitness, Finances, and Friends. These pillars shape everything I do, from my career decisions to personal growth. 2) No matter the role or work, I gave it my all This is a gentle reminder for me of the work I want to provide: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters” Colossians 3:23-24 3) I choose Courage over Comfort All the magic happens outside of our comfort zone. Whether that be starting a new project at work, starting a new campaign, or acquiring another multifamily building all the magic happens outside the comfort zone. Stay tuned as I share insights on: - Identifying a vision and sticking to it - Balancing a fulfilling career with a busy personal life - Becoming an asset in your company and acquiring cash flow-producing assets like real estate Whether you are a parent or not, do yourself a favor and think about the legacy you want to leave.

Today marked one year at United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes. In a year full of big changes, relocations, and growing roots, I learned a few things: 1. It’s never too late to “reset”. You can tear it all down and build it all back up again. 2. You don’t know what is going to happen–and neither does anyone else. We are all “winging it” 3. Always ask “why”. Stay curious, better understand decisions, and never settle for “because we have always done it that way”. 4. When you are clear on what matters to you, and understand your values, you know when life gets out of sync and can recalibrate. 5. Energy and attitudes are contagious. Passion fuels passion. It’s incredible what we can accomplish collectively when we believe in the work we do. 6. Stories are everywhere, all the time. Do your homework and get good at noticing. Stories have an impact–you can glean things from every story you hear, and stories are what take organizations to new heights. 7. You can do really hard things. And you can ask for help with those really hard things. 8. Watching my daughter make her own Rochester memories and reunite with an extension of her village has brought me so much joy–more than I ever imagined. 9. I can be a priority–and definitely should not let almost a year pass before getting a haircut. 10. I am excited for what’s next! It will only get better from here. One of the last pictures I took of Vermont is this one with my daughter and dog overlooking their little backyard kingdom. The photo brings me serenity, reminiscing of the incredible life we had in Vermont and the incredible life we will now have here. Onward to the next milestone!
