Graco Process Transfer Equipment’s Post

Let’s talk about dry-running pumps. When an AODD pump operates with no fluid in the tank, the pump speed (cycle rate) increases to the maximum. While typically ok for short periods, if dry running occurs regularly and for extended periods of time, it will significantly decrease the lifespan of your diaphragms, leading to increased downtime and pump maintenance costs. QUANTM Electric double diaphragm pumps offer a unique design similar to AODD pumps that allows dry running. The difference with #QUANTM, however, results from integrating the intelligent electric motor. The software in QUANTM pumps prevents an increase in pump speed when there’s no fluid in the line without the need for any additional sensors and regulators. This enables you to maintain full control over the process without downtime and extra charges. Thanks to Standard Group - Pumps, Air Compressors, Engineered Skids for running this 2” QUANTM pump test. #IndustrialPumps #Innovation #Manufacturing
