Celebrating the completion of my first 30-day at Causeway today and what a ride it’s been so far! 🤝 I was lucky to meet the entire Mkg team face to face on Day-1 💻 Followed by multiple other Product and GTM intros 🎯 Built Q4 OKRs and baked those into my 30-60-90 roadmap. ✍ Jumped right into delivering some new copy blocks we urgently needed ⚙ Started reviewing processes needing improvement. 🎓 Started a long, but exciting and rewarding journey of learning everything about the Causeway story, our value to customers, our products and our positive impact on the industry. At my 1-month review, I was asked what I liked so far about the role and if it met my initial expectations. I really enjoy the opportunity to interact with so many functions across the business and to be involved in a wide variety of work streams. I feel like my input is valued and interactions are based on trust and respect.  My big tickets are also interesting projects that don’t come across often in a career, another reason to feel motivated and excited about what’s coming next. This is not just me honeymooning my way around your Linkedin feed 😅 The idea is that if you have some time today, take a moment to pause and reflect on what makes you happy at work, what drives you to show up positive or willing to make a difference, and what little wins you can celebrate when looking back into the rear mirror, however small or big they might be. Some gentle introspection might just be what’s needed to connect back to the essential of (professional) happiness. And a good way to end the week too. Happy Friday!

I’m entering my 5th month at ZenMaid. I’m also entering new territory; being a dad for the third time, as my wife is due tomorrow. 👶🏻 Normally, I’d be anxious about leaving projects unfinished or marketing program concepts on the table. However, our entire company has been hard at work, and we’ve seen some incredible growth in the last 4 months (not to negate the last 11 years). Where we’re at now versus where we were before I started (this is my “jumping off” point): MRR: +6.56% increase 🚀 We’ve added $12,431 on a monthly recurring basis on a ~ $94 ACV product. This also accounts for churn (voluntary and delinquent) and downgrades. Trials: +26.92% increase (YoY); looking at Jan - April for both years. 📈 Churn: April’s revenue current churn rate is the lowest we’ve had in YEARS (since Dec. 2020). 🧈 Growth rate: the highest it’s been in 23 months. 💥 I’m mostly excited about the trajectory for another reason - when companies start seeing steady growth, you get to sway your attention back to quality and pace. Yes, we want to continue shipping things fast, but this is where we’re starting to level up our content, brand, and programs across the board.

Something that always makes me smile is whenever I see a post about someone leaving a role, or a work anniversary or promotion, when they post on LI a few of their favorite photos of their team or time at the company, RecFest, if they’ve been, usually features in one of those photos. 😀 Always obvious to spot; green grass, blue sky, the lanyard and smiles all around. And I love that people choose something we’ve built as one of their favorite memories. It’s always a boost to me and team, so, as we’re in deep deep planning mode right now, for the 10 year anniversary of RecFest, post your favorite RecFest photo in the comments. Not as part of a give away or competition, but to give the TREC team a boost today to keep doing what they’re doing, to build more happy memories for the industry. 😃🎪😀🎪 I’ll go first.

Everything comes to an end at some point. Today was the last day of work in andagon It has been an amazing time where I learned a lot, met talented people, and was part of a successful IT company in Germany. I'm grateful to my colleagues for the pleasant teamwork, and with a smile on my face, I continue my career path in another growing company. A new chapter in my book begins.🎉🎊

Today I celebrate my 32nd birthday 🎂 Today, I'm hitting the big 3-2, and it's got me thinking about the past decade since kicking off my eye care biz. Here's a quick rundown of what's got me buzzing and why I reckon life's more of a marathon than a sprint: 1️⃣ Ocushield Origins: Started my eye care gig ten years back studying optometry at university & it's been a wild ride since! Shoutout to everyone who's been on this journey with me. 🙌 2️⃣ Making Waves: Dragons' Den, a King's Award - yup, we've made a splash or two. But it's not about the trophies (although they’re great to look back on!); it's about the impact we're making in the eye care game. 3️⃣ Crew Love: Massive props to my squad—family, friends, team and mentors—who've had my back through thick and thin. Couldn't have done it without you legends! 4️⃣ Lessons Galore: From epic wins to epic fails, I've soaked up more knowledge than a sponge in a rainstorm. Every stumble taught me something new, and I'm all the better for it. 5️⃣ Eyes on the Prize: Life's not a sprint, it's a marathon. We're in it for the long haul. Ten years down, from an idea at university, a lifetime of possibilities to go. They say most overestimate what they can do in a year, but underestimate what they can do in ten. What I’ve learnt since leaving Specsavers and going full time into Ocushield in 2018 means this decade we’re going to speed things up a little… ;) Blowing out candles today, but the fire's still burning bright. Here's to more adventures, more wins, and more memories to make. Let's do this! 🔥 P.S - thanks to my partner Beth for all these presents 😂 I'm being spoilt.

So allow me to play devils advocate for a moment. Why does the US have to negotiate with Allies to supply Ukraine against Russia? Let's suppose for a moment that Ukraine is in Europe and let's assume that they are not part of NATO and let's assume that Europe has a Union (EU) to support Europe that the US is not a part of. Now let's assume that Their are country's that border Ukraine and is in line to be attacked next by Russia if Ukraine fails. With all these assumptions, would it not be a good assumption that these countries don't require the US input to support Ukraine?

After 14 years + 2 days of marriage, here's my best advice: Find a partner who makes you a better person. From the beginning of our marriage, Judson's sense of adventure and endless encouragement led me down the most incredible path. Here's a list of things I would have never done without him in my life: 1. Complete 2 sprint triathlons 2. Overcome my fear of open-water swimming (discovered this while training for #1 😂 ) 3. Complete a Century Ride 4. Camp in a tent for more than 1 night 5. Leave my corporate job after 13 years 6. Eat Chick-fil-A more than once a week 7. Jump off a cliff into a waterfall 8. Change thousands of dirty diapers for 3 kids 9. Learn the joy of a good whiteboard session 10. Launch my own business 11. Develop a personal relationship with God Can't wait to see what we accomplish in the next 14! 😁 #advice

Yesterday was my first anniversary working at Nuvei. 🤩 As usually happens, it makes you think about results and accomplishments of this year. So I was thinking about it as well and I want to share some of them briefly: 1. I’ve set up new partnerships with 80+ super-talented professionals in Hi-tech. 2. I’ve finally gained confident and feel comfortable working in truly multinational and multicultural environment.     3. I’ve rethought terms leadership and mentorship. 4. I’ve designed solution for “Rules Platform” from the scratch which allows internal users and company customers manage rules for different business issues like fraud rules, 3DS rules, traffic routing rules, fee calculation rules, etc. 5. I’ve designed solution for “Reject Management Platform” from the scratch which allows internal users get sufficient information for cases and automatically implement resolutions upon user decisions. And this is just a beginning of great journey with Nuvei. There are so many bright ideas have to be done. Keep working… 😉
