The integration of disruptive technologies into national defense strategies is a pivotal aspect of maintaining a competitive edge in modern warfare and security. Marcantonio Global's collaboration with the U.S. United States Department of Defense exemplifies a proactive approach to innovation, focusing on key technological areas that are vital for national security. The alliance's efforts in scouting and accelerating potential capabilities within these domains underscore the importance of public-private partnerships in advancing the military's technological prowess. The Defense Logistics Innovation Forums and the DoD Centurions Program, in partnership with OUSD and NAVSEA are indicative of the commitment to fostering a culture of innovation that can yield transformative solutions for defense and security challenges. The involvement of senior Pentagon leadership (AI Summit 2019 on the E ring to Urgent Pandemic Response PPWG supporting Warp speed in 2020) further emphasizes the strategic significance of these initiatives, aiming to create a robust pipeline of advanced technologies that can be integrated into defense strategies effectively.

Today at the 2023 Aspen Security Forum | Aspen Strategy Group DC Edition panel focused on “Transforming for Future Challenges” Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) Director Doug Beck, USSOCOM Commander, Gen. Bryan Fenton, and WestExec Advisors Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Michèle Flournoy sat down to talk about a shared vision of technology and human-centered transformation and innovation adoption with allies and partners. Opening remarks recognized the significant events of Pearl Harbor #OTD 82 years ago as a timely reminder of the criticality of international alliances and partnership. "Fitting that we are sitting here today on Pearl Harbor Day, because it helps to crystallize the mind of what happens if we aren't prepared and how we need to be. Frankly if we end in a conflict, if deterrence were to fail, we wouldn't have the time, so we need to get this right now. Against the problem sets we face as a nation, facing the pacing challenge with China or others, we can not solve for those unless we leverage the capability of technology, and take full advantage of the tech sector here in the U.S. and with our allies and partners, first of all because of the speed, but also because the quality and capability of the technology," said Doug Beck.
