Meet David Leonard, Goodwill San Antonio’s longest tenured employee at 38 years! 👋 David is a Goodwill Technology Reboot (GTR) Specialist at our Donated Goods Retail Operations Center. David’s job is to take technology that is donated to our stores and repurpose and reboot it before sending them off to find their new home. 💻 Since 1986, David has enjoyed his time at Goodwill and continues to positively impact our organization. “I enjoy everything here at Goodwill. From rock bottom, to redemption: Meet Matthew! 👋 After retiring from the oil field, he was bored at home and battling alcoholism, a disease that gradually took over his life. “I was at a point in my life where I lost everything,” said Matthew. “My marriage was falling apart, and I ran out of spots to go. And that’s when I landed homeless and at Haven for Hope.” Fast forward three years later, and Matthew is now on the verge of a remarkable achievement.
