Thanks to the amazing gardening students of PS 84 and Gale A. Brewer for giving out free produce in front of our headquarters! The students tend a hydroponic garden on the roof of the school that turns out all kinds of fruits and vegetables, including these beautiful beans. They'll be doing this every two weeks throughout the summer at 593 Columbus Ave (and 88th).

Some of our Older Adult members produced beautiful art as part of a printmaking class this spring. Thanks New York City Council, NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, the NYC Department for the Aging, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and the Tiger Baron Foundation for making this SU-CASA artist residency possible!

Thanks City Council Member Gale A. Brewer and Aging Chair Council Member Crystal Hudson for rallying with us and the #AARP against budget cuts to Home-Delivered Meals! These meals help New Yorkers who can't cook for themselves stay healthy and independent. Khristel Simmons, who oversees our aging and nutrition programs, spoke on our behalf.

Free Summer Meals for Kids! Kids and teens can eat free, healthy summer meals to fuel summer fun! No application or sign-up needed. Call the Nutrition Outreach and Education Program (NOEP) to find summer meals near you. NOEP can also help you learn if you may be eligible for SNAP. Contact the NOEP Coordinator at the Stanley M.
