Inspired by Dr. Ibram X. Kendi's influential career as a leading scholar and renowned author of groundbreaking works, "Stamped From the Beginning" and "How to Be An Antiracist," Forward Global and the Global Philanthropy Forum hosted a fireside chat last month at KQED with Dr. Kendi and Jamie Allison, Executive Director of of the Walter & Elise Haas Fund. The conversation stressed the need to address systemic racial injustices and adopt an anti-racist philosophy, while also exploring how #philanthropy can rebuild trust through fostering community self-liberation and sustainable, relationship-driven approaches.
