The Prosserman JCC engages over 1,000 people each day (in some cases, that number could be double!). Let that sink in for a moment.... This could be someone going for a swim, playing pickleball, doing a group class, attending a program for their child or just meeting up with a friend to do a workout together. The list of examples is endless and outside of a concert, or live sporting event, I can't think of another business that's doing the same kind of high-level volume, while also fostering community at the same time. AHA’s with Asha: Work - celebrate wins and take a moment to thank your team, especially in the middle of the tough stuff. Family - be ready, no wasted tears, you never know when you’re going to be needed to be there and help unexpectedly for someone else based on your own past experience with losses, hurts, mistakes and woes. Self - if you find yourself complaining about a school, company, person, etc. - try volunteering to serve, writing a letter of suggestion or reaching out for understanding instead.

💡 People need people. And organizations need partners.💡 Stand Together partners with the nation's most transformative nonprofits, specifically those led by disruptive social entrepreneurs attempting to solve massive problems. Their team, led by Evan Feinberg, has recognized Susan Ramirez as one of those leaders – and our community-supported programs as an innovative solution to the foster care crisis. We are better because of Stand Together and their team members who've poured into us. They are transforming our Angels chapters so we can transform the foster care experience on a national scale. It gives us chills just thinking about it! Last October, they engaged their incredible media partner, Freethink, to produce a documentary short about the National Angels programs – and their potential to build a better world. It's National Foster Care Awareness Month, and this video was released to bring light to our mission. The awareness and interest it has the potential to bring our work is huge. This is the power of partnership. And we are so grateful.
